Swing for the fences
Alexis Marcou was commissioned by Nike to create some graphics for the MLB World Series.
The details in the illustration are amazing. He captures the action and makes it kind of look like broken glass. I also like his subtle use of the yellow highlight in this piece.
He also created a custom font for piece. Here's the HEYSPORT letters.
