We still got next
On April 24, 1996, Rebecca Lobo, Lisa Leslie and Sheryl Swoopes (best basketball player name ever?) announced the launch of the WNBA by telling the world "We got next."
I have to be honest. I never thought the women's league would last this long. The NBA has a hard enough time competing in the majors sports market, but the ladies have proved that they've got game. The WNBA is now considered "the most successful women's professional team sports league in the world." Impressive.
Last Thursday, the league introduced a new branding identity that was created by OCD | The Original Champions of Design.
